2. How We Use Your Information

Mynewlife Investments Inc. uses the information we collect for the following specific, limited purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and consultation requests — Contact form submissions are reviewed by our Client Experience team, led by Sarah Lavoie, and routed to the appropriate advisor within one business day.
  • To deliver our newsletter to subscribers — Your email address is used exclusively to send the Tuesday newsletter and occasional firm announcements (no more than two per quarter).
  • To improve website functionality and user experience — Anonymized analytics data helps us understand which pages are most useful, where visitors encounter difficulties, and how we can improve our informational content.
  • To comply with regulatory requirements — As a registered Portfolio Manager and Investment Fund Manager with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) du Québec and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), we are obligated to maintain certain records and documentation.

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Client Portal Data

Retention period: Duration of the client relationship plus 7 years following termination. This extended retention is mandated by securities regulations — specifically, the AMF and OSC record-keeping requirements for registered portfolio managers — to ensure audit compliance and regulatory accountability.
